Research work

Our research is focused on uncovering cellular mechanisms leading to disease pathogenesis with a particular emphasis on drug development. We aim to develop strategic platform for rational discovery and design of protein kinase inhibitors using computational and biochemical tools.

Our current work focus on the role of degradation pathways such as autophagy in controlling neurotoxic protein aggregation and the ways to intensify cellular clearance, using models of Alzheimer's and Huntington's disease.
