A Movie Screening Followed by a Conversation with Shaylee Atari, Who Survived the October 7th Attack

A movie screening and a conversation with Shaylee Atari, a survivor of the October 7th terrorist attack and an alumna of TAU's School of Film and Television.
The event will feature a screening of the movie The Boy, Israel (2023), directed by Yahav Winner, Shaylee's husband, who was tragically murdered on October 7th while defending her and their infant daughter.
The movie provides a poignant look into Kibbutz's life. It captures the perspective of a young man unwavering in his commitment to addressing the sufferings of those around him, including those on the other side of the border.
The event is hosted by Prof. Eran Neuman, Dean of the Yolanda and David Katz Faculty of the Arts.
